Gardaí are not expected to resume overseeing evictions from the illegal halting site in Woodland Park in Dundalk tomorrow.

Six mobile homes remain on the site following evictions which began on Friday.

Residents said they were informed today that they have until Wednesday to voluntarily remove the mobile homes.

Many current and former residents of Woodland Park are due to go to Louth County Council offices tomorrow, while members of the Louth Traveller Movement, including some residents, will meet local County Councillors and TDs at 9.30am.

Resident representatives are also expecting to meet Louth County Council Director of Services Joe McGuinness.
