A man and a woman have been arrested after two separate drug seizures in counties Kildare and Dublin.

A woman was arrested after heroin with an estimated street value of €150,000 was discovered following the search of a house in Ballyfermot last night.

A woman in her 50s was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Clondalkin Garda Station where she can be held for up to seven days. 

Separately, a man has been arrested after cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €62,000 were seized in Co Kildare.

Gardai made the find at a planned search of a house in Crodaun Forest Park, Celbridge yesterday afternoon. 

A male in his 60s was arrested at the scene.
