Hundreds of farmers staged a protest outside a Tesco store in Naas, Co Kildare this evening to highlight their anger over the low prices they are receiving for their cattle.

They have accused supermarkets, including Supervalu, Dunes Stores, Aldi and Lidl of a lack of corporate responsibility in how they are treating their farmer suppliers.
