Two people have been arrested after a man’s body was found in a wheelie bin at a house in Co Armagh.

Police responding to a report of suspicious activity found the body at a property in Moyraverty Court, Craigavon yesterday afternoon.

A 27-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have been arrested and are being questioned at Lurgan police station.

The dead man has been named as Owen Creaney, a 40-year-old from Victoria Place in Lurgan.

He was disabled and has been described as frail and vulnerable.

The PSNI said that Mr Creaney's body was found in a wheelie bin in the porch at the rear of a house in which the 27-year-old suspect lived.

The cause of death is unknown and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.
