A 50-year-old man has died following a road crash in Co Kerry.

The incident happened at Kielduff, near Tralee, at around midday.

The man, who was the sole occupant of the car, was fatally injured when his vehicle struck a ditch.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Separately, a man in his late 40s has died in a road crash in Cork.

The cyclist was seriously injured when he crashed into a bollard at Shandon Street at around 5.40pm yesterday.

He was taken to Cork University Hospital and was pronounced dead late last night.

Elsewhere, two men were killed in a crash in south Belfast last night.

The collision between a motorbike and car happened on the Milltown Road close to the Belvoir housing estate.

The motorcyclist and the driver of the car both died in the crash.
