A man arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in Drogheda, Co Louth has been released without charge.

Heroin with an estimated street value of €3m was discovered by gardaí after an articulated truck was stopped and searched on the M1 toll plaza on Thursday.

Two people appeared in court on Saturday charged in connection with the seizure.
