One hundred jobs are being created in Belfast by US based pharmacy and healthcare company CVS Caremark.
The new posts will be in the company's IT development centre in Belfast which opened in 2012.
The centre creates internet and software applications for CVS, which has its headquarters in the US state of Rhode Island.
Northern Ireland's jobs creation agency Invest NI contributed £725,000 (€905,000) in funding for the new jobs.
It says they will attract pay scales significantly above the private sector average and are expected to contribute around €4.1m a year in salaries to the local economy.
CVS Caremark is ranked 12th on the Fortune 500 list of top companies and is the largest pharmacy and healthcare provider in the US with over 200,000 employees, 7,600 pharmacy stores and 800 retail medical clinics.
