A man has been released without charge after being questioned in connection with a shooting in which a six-year-old boy was injured in Dublin on Friday night.
The man had been detained on suspicion of withholding information.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The boy had been out playing near his house in Croftwood Gardens in Ballyfermot when a man cycled up and fired shots at another man nearby.
He missed and hit the child, who sustained injuries to his neck.
