Two men have been arrested as part of an investigation into the murders of Eoin O'Connor and Anthony Keegan.

The men were arrested in the Cavan area this morning.

One of the men is in his 20s, while the other is in his 30s.

They are being detained at Kells Garda Station.

The bodies of Mr O’Connor, 32, and 33-year-old Mr Keegan were found on an island on Lough Sheelin in Co Meath on 26 May.

The two bodies were discovered under tarpaulin, covered with vegetation.

The men also appeared to have been tied up.

Both men had been reported missing on 22 April.
