Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a man was injured in a shooting at a pub in Sallynoggin in Dublin.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, carried out the shooting at approximately 12.50am.

The injured man was taken to St Vincent's University Hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Gardaí wish to speak with any taxi drivers who may have picked up a lone man on Sallynoggin Road at approximately 1am.
