There may be some further disruption to flights to and from France today as a knock-on effect of strike action by French air traffic controllers.

The workers were among thousands of public sector employees in France who took part in a strike to protest against government austerity measures.

The 36-hour strike, which was due to end at 6am this morning, led to a number of flights being delayed yesterday, with some cancellations.

Intending passengers are advised to check-in on time and to check their airline's website for more details.
