Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton have launched a new competition to find Ireland's best young entrepreneurs.

The competition will be run by Local Enterprise Offices across the country.

It is open to those aged 30 and under and winners at county level will be eligible for an investment of €25,000.

Pointing to the young people in the audience at City Hall, Mr Kenny said there "could be five Mark Zuckerbergs" here.

The project is part of the Action Plan for Jobs 2014 and is supported by Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.
