Arrest after shots fired at Dublin house

A 28-year-old man has been arrested after shots were fired at a house in Dublin last night.

The incident happened on Beaver Street at about 10.30pm.

Two people were in the house at the time, but no one was injured.

The gunman left the scene on a bike.

A man was arrested a short time later on Sean MacDermott Street and is being held at Store Street Garda Station.

A firearm was recovered in a follow-up search.

The scene at Beaver Street has been preserved for a technical examination.
