A 15-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a teacher who was stabbed to death in front of her pupils at a school in the UK.

Spanish teacher Ann Maguire, 61, was attacked in a classroom on Monday morning at Corpus Christi Catholic College in Leeds.

Britain's Crown Prosecution Service has concluded that there is sufficient evidence to charge the 15-year-old with the murder after he was arrested and interviewed under caution by police.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Leeds Youth Court tomorrow and at Leeds Crown Court for a bail hearing on Friday, the CPS said.
