Ahead of the ten-year anniversary of Poland joining the EU, and the arrival of Polish workers and families to Irish shores, the country's embassy in Dublin has released a video to say "thank you".
The video is in Irish and has English subtitles.
It is intended to convey the "gratitude to the Irish people for the openness and kindness they have shown to Poles in Ireland over the past decade".
The tongue-in-cheek clip thanks the Irish for their welcome, unusual sports, cheerful and easy to read books and for the "beautiful weather".
With a nod to Ireland's food and drink, it thanks the Irish for the "healthy food" of a full Irish breakfast and for "black gold" - Guinness.
But most of all, it thanks the Irish people for being so open and welcoming.
Ireland is home to an estimated 120,000 Poles.
