Permanent TSB has confirmed that all banking services are working normally following a disruption to services for part of the day due to a technical issue.

Customers at Permanent TSB were unable to access the bank's phone and internet banking services for part of the day.

A spokesperson for the bank said the problem first arose this morning and was rectified; however it reoccurred in the afternoon and has since been resolved.

The bank's ATMs and point-of-sale terminals remained operational throughout the day. The bank has apologised to customers for any inconvenience caused.
