Two arrested after Dublin post office raid

Two men have been arrested following an armed robbery of the post office at The Mill Shopping Centre in Clondalkin, Dublin.

At around 11am two men entered the post office carrying what are believed to be firearms and demanded money. They made off with a substantial amount of cash. 

One man was arrested shortly after the raid, after reportedly getting caught in traffic.

The second man was arrested a short time later. 

Not all the cash has yet been recovered. Gardaí investigations are continuing .
