Four people have been arrested after cannabis worth an estimated €600,000 was seized in Cork city.

The drugs were found during the search of a unit at Ballycurreen Industrial Estate in Frankfield earlier today.

Gardaí recovered 250 cannabis plants and 18kg of cannabis in the operation.

The three men and one woman, who are all aged between 35 and 45, are being held at Togher and the Bridewell garda stations in Cork.
