A 21-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Irishman Michael Hunt in London over the weekend.

Arry James Green, of no fixed abode, appeared before Camberwell Green Magistrates Court via video link.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday.

Mr Hunt was found with serious injuries to his head and body in a skip in an alleyway off Station Road in South Norwood at around 7am on Saturday morning.

The 37-year-old, who was originally from Co Waterford, was taken to King's College Hospital, where he died later that day.
