A murder investigation is under way after the body of a 35-year-old man was found in north Belfast early this morning.

The body of Eamonn Ferguson was discovered just before 3am in a flat in Ardoyne Place.

Two men have been arrested, a PSNI spokesman said.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out.

The PSNI appealed to anyone with information on the incident to come forward.
