Two men have been shot in Ballyfermot in Dublin.

The shooting happened at around 10pm at Clifton Drive.

The men, aged in their 20s and 50s, were taken to St James's Hospital.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The scene has been preserved.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact them at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
