Man shot and thrown from car in Dublin

A man in his 40s has been shot in Kilshane Road in Finglas in Dublin.

It is believed he was shot in the legs and then thrown out of a car. He was found at around 8.50pm.

A black BMW car was reported leaving the scene.

The injured man was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown with injuries described as not life-threatening.

The scene has been preserved and gardaí are investigating.
