Water supplies for homes and businesses in parts of Dublin city face disruption this weekend, according to Dublin City Council.
A break on a large water distribution main off James's Street means some will experience reduced pressure or temporary loss to supply as repairs are carried out.
Repair works began this morning and will continue until Sunday evening.
The areas most likely to be worst affected include: Cabra, Glasnevin, Phibsboro, Drumcondra, parts of Donnycarney, Santry and parts of Beaumont.
South of the Liffey, the Heuston area south to Thomas Street and east to Bridgefoot Street will be worst affected.
Water tankers will be made available in the affected areas.
