Two of three men being questioned in connection with the murder of Thomas (Toddy) Dooley in Co Offaly have been released without charge by gardaí.
A file on the matter is to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A 24-year old man remains in garda custody in Portlaoise.
He must be either released or charged by early morning.
Mr Dooley's body was found in his house at Sister Senan Court in Edenderry on 16 February.
