Three men and a woman, involved in supplying a lethal mixture of drugs to two men who later died, have been remanded in custody pending sentencing on Friday.

David McGrath and John O'Dwyer, of 23 Roman Street, Cork, David McGuire, of 8 Harley Wood, Togher, and Victoria McCormack, of Cornmill Apartments, Connell Street, Cork all pleaded guilty at Cork Circuit Criminal Court to drugs related charges arising from a garda investigation.

The investigation arose following the deaths of Michael Coleman, 22, from Dungarvan, in Co Waterford, and his lifelong friend Liam Coffey, 22, from Cappoquin in Co Waterford.

Both died from a drugs overdose at Mr Coleman's rented home in Kinsale in September 2012, having ingested a fatal mixture of ecstasy (MDMA) mixed with paramethoxymethamphetaimine (PMMA).
