A 31-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Sonia Blount from Tallaght, Dublin.
The body of the 30-year-old was discovered by cleaning staff in a room at the Plaza Hotel in Tallaght on Sunday afternoon.
Eric Locke of St John's Park East in Clondalkin was remanded in custody to appear again at Cloverhill District Court this day week.
The court was told he replied "no" when the charge was put to him.
Mr Locke is accused of the murder of Ms Blount at room 346 at the Plaza Hotel.
He was granted free legal aid and Judge Anthony Halpin directed that he have access to medication and be afforded medical attention if required.
