Man released in Terenure death investigation

A man in his 50s, who was arrested in connection with the murder of a 62-year-old man in Terenure earlier this month, has been released without charge.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Cathal Sweeney died after he was attacked in a flat at Ashdale Gardens on 8 February.

Another man, 31-year-old Gary Walsh with an address at Ravensdale in Kimmage, has been charged with Mr Sweeney's murder.
