Gardaí say a fire in Dungarvan in Co Waterford has now been brought under control.

Eight fire brigades tackled the blaze which started at the Glanbia offices on Lower Main Street shortly after 8am.

The fire also spread to Shaws Electrical Department.

It is believed the blaze caused a considerable amount of damage.

Gardaí have cordoned off the area and closed it to traffic.
