Three people have died in separate crashes in Co Limerick and Co Fermanagh.

A 49-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a road crash at Kilballyowen outside Bruff, Co Limerick shortly before 5.30pm.

The man, who was driving a vintage motorbike, crashed into a wall, on a bend along a rural road. 

Weather conditions at the time were described as particularly bad.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the University Hospital Limerick.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact Bruff Garda Station on 061 382940, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station. 

In Co Fermanagh, two men, aged 18 and 22, were killed in a single vehicle collision at around 4.20pm on the Pettigo Road in Kesh.

Police in Enniskillen have issued an appeal for witnesses.
