Aer Lingus, unions talks adjourned at LRCSaturday 09 November 2013 22.57
Talks at the Labour Relations Commission aimed at resolving the Aer Lingus dispute over the threatened closure of a cabin crew base at Shannon Airport have now adjourned until Monday.
The negotiations concern the outsourcing of cabin crew work on new transatlantic routes which are due to start in January.
Yesterday, IMPACT warned that its members were prepared to strike if the dispute over outsourcing jobs on new routes from Shannon was not resolved.
Last month, Aer Lingus announced it would be closing its cabin crew base at Shannon, affecting 86 jobs.
