One of six lion-tailed macaques that escaped from Belfast Zoo on Monday is still on the run.
Five of the macaques have since been returned to their enclosure, where they have rejoined the rest of the group.
The missing monkey has been spotted near the zoo, which is on the Antrim Road, on the outskirts of Belfast.
The zoo says it has been monitoring the animals’ movements over the past few days and has set a number of traps and positioned staff in the areas where the monkeys were spotted.
The monkey does not pose any threat to the public but people are asked not to try to catch it but rather to contact the zoo on 048 9077 6277.
