Businessman Kevin McGeever has been further remanded on charges in relation to wasting garda time.
The 68-year-old from Craughwell, Co Galway appeared at Loughrea District Court today and sat at the rear of the court waiting for his case to be called.
He faces charges relating to wasting garda time on 29 January and 28 February of this year.
The charges followed a garda investigation after the businessman was found in a dishevelled state wandering on a road in Co Leitrim in January. He had been reported missing in May 2012.
Judge Geoffrey Browne remanded Mr McGeever on continuing bail to appear again at Loughrea District Court in October and extended time for service of the book of evidence.
