Police in New York are investigating after a one-year-old boy was shot in his stroller in the city centre.
It is thought the killing of Antiq Hennis in Brooklyn on Sunday night was gang-related.
Commissioner Raymond Kelly said the child's father appeared to be the intended target.
The child had been picked up from his mother's house and was being brought to visit his grandmother at the time of the incident.
The infant was being pushed across a street in his stroller in the Brownsville neighbourhood when shots rang out at about 7.20pm.
Four shots were fired, one of which hit the boy in the left side of his head.
He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
