Seventy-five jobs are to be created in Laois, Galway and Longford as part of a new employment initiative, which financially rewards individuals who help bring new projects to Ireland.

Magni Group is creating 50 jobs at a new manufacturing plant for automotive coating near Portarlington, Co Laois.

Flagship Management, a maritime consultancy company, is to employ 15 people in Co Galway.

Ark Energy Consulting is moving its energy trading risk management business to Longford with the creation of ten jobs.

Some of those who helped establish those links with the new employers for Connect Ireland will be paid up to €75,000.

They will also meet Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton in Dublin this morning.
