Gardaí are treating as suspicious discovery of the body of a 50-year-old man at a house in Co Donegal yesterday.

They are appealing to the public in tracing the whereabouts and last movements of Kieran Callaghan from Roshin, Milford, Co Donegal between last Thursday and yesterday at 1.30pm.

He was last seen in the Churchill area of Letterkenny at approximately 6pm on Friday.

He is described as being 5'10'' in height with grey hair and of thin build.

The State Pathologist has completed a post mortem and further tests and results are awaited.

Following consultation with the State Pathologist, gardaí are treating the death as suspicious at this time pending test results and further investigation.
