The funerals of 27-year-old Jolanta Lubiene and her eight-year-old daughter Enrika were to take place today near their home town in northern Lithuania.

The two bodies were discovered at their home in Killorglin, Co Kerry last month.

Lithuanian national Aurimas Andruska, 26, with an address at Moniel Height, Killorglin, has been charged with their murders.

He is due to appear before Tralee District Court again tomorrow.

The funerals were to take place at Ms Lubiene's home town of Gedrimai near the Latvian border.
