Two gardaí have been assaulted and a patrol car rammed during a search of a house in Dublin.

The incident happened at Meile an Rí, off Balgaddy Lane in Lucan, at around 6.45pm yesterday evening.

Gardaí from Ronanstown searched the house and seized heroin worth an estimated €48,000.
