Gardaí in Co Donegal are understood to be treating as suspicious the death of a man in Letterkenny.
The body of the man, believed to be a foreign national in his 40s, was discovered in an apartment in the town this morning.
The body was found in an apartment on Lower Main Street at about 11am.
The body remains at the scene pending the arrival of a State pathologist.
It is now expected that a post mortem on the body will take place at Letterkenny General Hospital tomorrow.
The area at lower Main Street remains sealed off as the Garda investigation into the man's death continues.
A Garda forensic team arrived at the apartment block shortly before 7pm.
It is believed the man was from Poland but had been living in the town for some time.
