A woman has been injured in an explosion at a house in Newtownabbey, in Co Antrim.

It is thought the blast was caused by a build up of gas from a coal fire in the living room of the house at Harmin Drive in Glengormley.

The woman suffered burns and was treated in hospital.

Two children and a man who were in the house at the time escaped unhurt.
