Beaumont Hospital in Dublin has said visiting restrictions will remain in place over the Easter weekend.
The restrictions were imposed to restrict the spread of influenza.
Visitors are also asked not to visit St Joseph’s Hospital Raheny or the Raheny Community Nursing Unit unless absolutely necessary.
Beaumont said essential visiting will be allowed between 6pm and 8pm with strictly one visitor per patient.
The hospital said no additional visitors will be allowed and children are not permitted to visit under any circumstances.
There have been 187 cases of influenza in the hospital since mid-February.
