The jury in the trial of a former Christian Brother charged with the sexual abuse of a boy in the 1960s has retired to consider its verdict.
The 72-year-old has pleaded not guilty to six charges of indecent assault.
The alleged victim claims the abuse took place on dates between 30 August 1965 and 4 April 1967, while he was detained at Letterfrack Industrial School in Co Galway.
The jury at Galway Circuit Criminal Court has been instructed by Judge Rory McCabe to return a unanimous verdict.
