Precautionary boil notices issued to householders in Bruree and Ballingarry in Co Limerick earlier today have been lifted.

They were issued when tests showed that water quality was compromised.

However, further tests today now show there are no quality issues for water in the area.

Around 800 households in the two villages and surrounding areas were affected.
