A man has been charged with the murder of 31-year-old Stephen Davidson in Bangor, Co Down last weekend.
The 40-year-old accused denied the charge before a special sitting of Newtownards Magistrates' Court and was remanded in custody.
He was also charged in relation to possession of illegal drugs and making a threat to commit arson last Saturday, 9 February.
Mr Davidson's body was found at his home on the Ballyholme Road last Sunday.
Police said he had died after a violent struggle.
