A teenage boy has died in an accident on his family's farm in west Cork, about 10km from Skibbereen.
It is understood the boy was struck by the bucket of a digger on the farm at Lisheen yesterday evening.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations are under way by gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority.
