A High Court defamation action by businessman Denis O Brien against Associated Newspapers has begun at the High Court.
The case will open before a jury tomorrow after a day of legal argument.
The High Court heard the case concerns an article in the Irish Daily Mail in 2010 headlined: "Moriarty about to report, no wonder O Brien is acting saintly in stricken Haiti".
Mr O'Brien who is chairman of Digicel Group is seeking damages for defamation. The case is expected to last five days.
