A pipe bomb has been found near a Catholic church in Co Antrim.
The device was discovered at the Sacred Heart church in Ballyclare.
Morning mass was cancelled and a number of homes were evacuated while the bomb was examined by British army technical experts.
A PSNI spokeswoman said the security alert in the Doagh Road was over.
She added: "No controlled explosions were carried out, however component parts of the viable pipe bomb type device have been removed for further forensic examination."
