Donegal school evacuated after chemical spill

A secondary school in Dungloe, Co Donegal was evacuated as a precautionary measure after a chemical spill.

It is understood that small amounts of lithium and potassium were spilled in Rosses Community School.

There are about 400 pupils in the school and a number of them were due to sit mock exams.

The fire brigade attended the scene, but there have been no injuries and the incident was brought under control.
