A man and his two nephews have appeared in court charged in connection with the theft of over €75,000 from a supermarket in Co Westmeath two years ago.
Edward Connors, 38, from Castleraven, Nurney in Co Kildare, and brothers Larry Connors, 25, from Rathcoole, Co Dublin, and William Connors, 23, with an address at Drumcairn Park in Tallaght, were before Mullingar District Court.
They were charged with the theft of €76,600 and possession of an imitation handgun at the Tesco Express store in Castlepollard on 14 March, 2011.
Judge Seamus Hughes remanded the three men in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on 30 January.
Legal aid was granted to William Connors and reserved in the cases of Edward and Larry Connors.
