Bankruptcy proceedings against property investors Brian and Mary Patricia O'Donnell have been adjourned.
The High Court was told the couple is to appeal a decision by a London court last month rejecting their attempt to declare bankruptcy there.
Ms Justice Elizabeth Dunne adjourned the case in Ireland to see what date is secured for the London appeal.
The proceedings in Ireland were lodged last year by Bank of Ireland, but had been held up until the completion of the London case.
However, last month the High Court in London rejected their claims that the UK was their centre of main interest.
They were refused leave to appeal, but this morning the High Court was told an appeal was possible under a section of the Insolvency Act.
