An Army bomb disposal team has made safe four viable improvised explosive devices near the Malahide Road in Dublin this afternoon.
The team had been called to some waste ground following a request from gardaí.
The viable devices were made safe without the need for a controlled explosion.
They were then removed to a secure military location for further examination.
The scene was declared safe at 3.10pm.
The remains of the devices will be handed over to gardaí to assist in their investigations.
